This plum is a fantastic color! It’s probably a Narcisco Rodriguez number which means it was probably made in Italy. At least this isn’t the first time she’s worn it so it does have lasting value.

It was nice to see her walk into the gallery without having to work through that back slapping, hand shaking, schmoozing display that took place before the speech. One can only stand so much sucking up.

Narcisco Camel Suit

Yes! Bring back the skirt and matching coat. This lovely combo is from Narcisco Rodriguez and the black accents work nicely with her husband’s ensemble. Of course, we all know that Narcisco has his clothes made in Italy. We like the Italians, sure enough, but in order for our own economy to recover we need those jobs for Americans.

Narcisco Rodriguez Red Dress

Narcisco usually turns out some pretty nice designs but this one doesn’t quite cut it. Narcisco was born in New Jersey to Cuban American parents and a Parsons graduate. Too bad he has an affiliation with Louis Vuitton Moet Hennisey (LVMH). It seems most of his dresses are made in Italy. While we love Italian made goods because of their fine quality, we feel like the U.S. could get back into the manufacturing game. Maybe Michelle doesn’t realize how powerful her clothing choices are.
